Need Help With Deciding on Surgery Date

I want to get my surgery done soon, but my son is in school now. I wanted to schedule it for March 2nd and then a week and a half after that , March 13th is his spring break. I can't get out for that whole week after I have surgery & I have 2 kids at home. I am contemplating waiting until July & I can have all three of them go outside if I'm not feeling well & not as many people will notice. What do you all think. Would it be fine to get it over with or would you wait until July?? I just can't imagine what it will be like or if it's that bad at all. I want to do the surgery b4 I turn 30 in November. Again, any replys would be helpful! Thanks!!

If I were you, I would do it when you could schedule some help with your little ones because you should rest post op for a couple of days and not be bending and picking up your kids! I did mine while my husband had some down time at work so he could care for our 2 year old. For me it was a painless, easy experience. It is the waiting for the results that sucks! You should expect to be swollen for several months after surgery but it is worth it! I had very minimal bruising so I could literally be seen in public looking good 6 days after my surgery! Good Luck!
