so my PS suggested to put in a septal graft in the area between my eyes (radix???) because a "normal" nose starts higher than where mine does. Sorry if this is unclear IM just not sure how to explain. IM not sure about this. Does anyone know the long term effects of grafts? The idea of adding something doesn't seem enticing to me. Plus it doesn't seem like it would be very stable. I want to make it as unlikely as possible that I will have to return for a touch up or any additional procedure, so will grafts increase my possibility of coming back? Any advice? Thanks!

I tend to agree with you. What, exactly, is the long term predictibility of grafts/implants? Can you speak with a patient who is 10-15 years post op with this type of graft?

Unless it's a necessary reconstruction/revision, the thought of using grafts is unsettling to me.

Personally, I do not think you need your radix built up.
