Waiting until 40?

A doctor once told me that waiting until you are 40 to have laser eye surgery to correct vision, because pepole tend to grow far sighted with age. Having the surgery too soon would leave the patient wearing glasses or contacts, again, later in life.

Has anyone else heard this or known someone who experienced this?

well nope ...but since its what the eye doctor had advice then maybe we had to follow him..
