hi jan
i'm sorry to hear about your experience. I've had a look at the pictures but to my untrained eye I can't see what you are unhappy with. But obviously there is something I am missing. What in particular were you unhappy with? Where did you get it done & who by?

Hello Jan
Have you discussed your concerns with your surgeon?
All surgeons / clinic/ hospitals will have a complaints procedure - it is advisable to follow these as it allows a degree of protection for you.

Jan,
I agree with Dalvi, you should speak with your surgeon.
From what I can gather by looking at your pictures I do not think you have had poor surgery. It looks to me like you have been unlucky with the healing process.
The scars are in an acceptable position - I just wonder how swollen you were immediately postop?
Occasionally patients who get very swollen faces postop can end up with some looseness of the face and neck skin after the swelling has gone down.
The answer here may be to have a retightening lift. I would say around 5% of facelift patients would benefit from having this a few months postop - it generally would only involve lifting the skin so is far less invasive than the original procedure.
I do not know who did your surgery but would advise you not to post their name as it might be taken as defamatory in this context.

Surgeon offered to do the facelift again but the problem is I would be terrified of him touching my face again and what makes it worse is that I`ve been in touch with 2 other women who also had bothed facelifts with the same surgeon as me. I am seeking legal advice. Will keep you all up to date re. what`s happening.
