An old topic but worth bringing up again! Is this the inevitable result you get if you are too thin for breast implants?

I am unable to comment on this particular case, however...

In certain very skinny patients even placing a teardrop shaped anatomical implant in a dual plane (best way to hide the implant edge and get a natural shape in skinny girls) looks unnatural.

Basically if there is only a thin covering of soft tissue around the implant the edges will be visible.

Ideally the implant should fit inside the "footprint" (the surface contact area) which the breast occupies on the chest wall and also there should be at least 2cm of skin pinch in the upper pole of the breast for a natural look.

The funny thing about it is that she whole heartedly denied having them done at all! :rolleyes:

She looks dreadful poor girl, she just lost too much weight then started having this surgery that looked so false, and then she changed them for smaller ones, they actually look painful, they look like they are about to burst through the skin.

They don't look too bad. She just needs to put on some flab!

I think she went back and had her implants "fixed". Has anyone seen or heard an update?
